Product Description
Low-Temperature Air-Cooling Granulator
Main Structure
The energy-saving low-temperature air-cooled granulator is a mini plastic recycling machine designed for small-scale pelletizing with minimal energy consumption. Air cooling instead of water-cooling. This mini granulator is well-suited for factories equipped with blown film machines and bag-making machines, where monthly PE film (HDPE/LDPE/LLDPE) scrap production is below 10 tons. Floor area needed 2-10m2.
Its key structural components include:
A. Feeding System
Hopper – Feeds PE film into the extruder with pneumatic cutter to shear film into flakes for smooth feeding. A support frame can be designed to enable smooth feeding of rolled film.
B. Plasticizing system
Extruder (screw and barrel) – melts plastic film at a low temperature, moves the melt forward towards cutter. With electrical heater and cooling fan for temperature control.
C. Cooling & Pelletizing System
Pelletizing cutter – Work in tandem with rotating blades for efficient cutting.
Air-Cooling System – Uses a low-power fan (instead of water cooling) to solidify pellets, reducing energy use.
Discharge Outlet – Collects finished pellets in bags or containers.
D. Drive & Control System
Energy-Saving Motor – Optimized for low power consumption (typically 15-55 kW depending on capacity). With inverter for speed adjustment.
